Refereeing is a fun, exciting, non-contact way to be involved with Rugby League. You get to see all the action from the best position on the field and it’s a great way to keep fit at the same time. The Brisbane Rugby League Referees Association (BRLRA) helps mentor and coach new referees so they can enjoy being involved in matches.
Referees play an important role in providing a fun and safe environment for all Rugby League participants.
If you’ve been thinking about becoming a referee you can follow the steps below to complete e-learning modules and then and enrol/register for attendance at a Face2Face workshop.
Step 1: Complete elearning as follows:

- Scroll down and click on the 6-12 Years Community Referee E-learning Modules window
- Enrol & complete e-learning modules.
Step 2: When elearning modules are completed enrol/register your attendance at a 6-12 Years Community Referee Face2Face workshop by:
- Clicking on this link: Referee Courses – Play Rugby League – Play Rugby League
- Then scroll down and click on the 6-12 Years Community Referee Course window
- Top right select Course Finder and search Brisbane Referee
- Select the 6-12 Years Community Referee workshops that suits by clicking on the window to enrol/register you attendance at the Face2Face workshop
